Bonifacio Global City is a master-planned business and residential district in Taguig City, developed on land that was formerly part of the Fort Bonifacio military reservation. The estate is governed in coordination with Ayala Land and the local government, and is anchored by a grid of avenues that connect the commercial core to its surrounding residential and educational pockets.

The district's housing stock is overwhelmingly condominium-based, with high-rise residential towers concentrated along 32nd Street, 5th Avenue, and the McKinley Hill side of the estate. Detached homes are limited to small pockets in McKinley Hill and Forbes Town. New condominium developments continue to add inventory; the older buildings from the district's first wave of development in the 2000s are now well established.

Bonifacio Global City is the principal location for international education in Metro Manila. International School Manila and British School Manila both relocated to the district within the past two decades, and a growing roster of Korean, Japanese, and other international schools have followed. The presence of these schools is one of the main factors driving long-term rental demand across the district and across the Makati villages a short drive away. The district is walkable in a way that is rare in Metro Manila — wide sidewalks, continuous park frontage, and a connected network of plazas link the residential towers to Bonifacio High Street and the office cores. Greenbelt and Makati Medical Center are reached by a 10 to 15 minute drive across EDSA.

Most residential transactions in Bonifacio Global City take the form of condominium sales and long-term leases. Buyers and tenants generally choose the district for school access, walkability, and proximity to corporate offices, accepting smaller floor areas in exchange for the location's amenities. Detached-home buyers tend to look across EDSA to the Makati gated villages or south to the Alabang corridor, depending on lot size and budget.
